Emory Law Finder Electronic Reference Desk - Offers full-text information on law related discussion groups.

Findlaw: Internet Legal Resources - An online resource of numerous legal fields.

Guide to Legal Resources on the Web - This site has a useful section outlining specialized areas of law, where more information can be obtained regarding particular legal subjects.

Legal Information Institute - The LII collection of state legal materials gathers, state by state, Internet-accessible sources of the constitutions, statutes, judicial opinions, and regulations for the fifty states, plus D.C., and the U.S. territories and affiliated jurisdictions. A listing of State Statutes can be easily accessed through this site for further legal reference.

Legal Information Network - University of Pittsburgh’s School of Law general legal information and news website, including links to various legal research tools.

Self-Help Legal Source - Legal self-help site, including sections on landlord tenant and family law.

The 'Lectric Law Library - This multiple database provides the meaning of law related words, terms, and phrases.

Virtual Library: Law - Provides searchable full-text Online research, including the Virtual Library.

Yahoo's Law Guide - This site allows the user to search Yahoo's reference materials as well as topics of law across a broader spectrum. There are many searchable topics and a range of legal issues that can be researched.

New York State Legal Information
REG Alert - This is a commercial site operated by the Regulatory Resource Center. It provides up-to-date information on proposed and adopted regulatory activities at the state level.

State Capitals - This is a newsletter that reports emerging trends in state legislation and regulations in all 50 states. Fifteen major regulatory areas are covered.

State Court Locator - Links to state courts provided by Villanova Center for Law and Policy. It provides additional state information in the form of opinions, judicial indexes, and several other state legal sources.

Federal Legal Information
Code of Federal Regulations - Searchable full-text of the C.F.R. is provided by the U.S. House of Representatives. It provides basic material about the Register and its purpose. This site has a useful reference guide outlining additional sources with relevant information on how to access them.

Federal Courts Home Page - This site provides searchable full text made available by the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts. It lists several Court-related search topics with useful descriptions following each of them for quick reference.

American Bar Association - National attorney association website offering lawyer referral service and legal information on various topics, including those immigration-related.

Association of the Bar of the City of New York Office - Local bar association site, with general legal information and lawyer referral.

New York County Lawyers’ Association - Local bar association website offering general legal information and pro bono lawyer referral service.

New York State Bar Association - State bar association website, includes legal information and lawyer referral by county.
