Bright Horizons brings Holiday Cheer

Bright Horizons brings Holiday Cheer

On December 2, 2011, Bright Horizons came to Covenant House to spread the holiday cheer by creating a Bright Space for our Mom’s and Babies in the Rights of Passage Transitional Living Program. In just two days, Bright Horizons brought in many volunteers who transitioned our Infant Toddler Center and Living Room Space for our homeless moms and babies to a space that is bright, cozy and comfortable.

One of the first reactions one of the young mothers had regarding this space was, “It feels like home!” The moms in the programs not only have a new living space that feels like home, their children also have a new and improved learning environment in their Infant Toddler Center where they are taught Monday through Friday.

Covenant House has been so blessed by Bright Horizons and the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children this past year. They have also created Bright Spaces in our gymnasium and our Mother Child Crisis Shelter. Thank you so much Bright Horizons!
