Training for the Nautica NYC Triathlon wasn't easy. Mr. Gaffney, a long time supporter of Covenant House, discussed his regimen. “For the past 18 weeks I started most days at 4:30am. I've swam over 37,000 yards, pedaled 480 miles on my bike and have ran 175 miles... I'm ready for this race!"

Mr. Gaffney raised over $10,000 through his fundraising efforts, which will allow many of our most vulnerable youth receive the help and support that they need from Covenant House! He is excited about the opportunities his hard work and dedication will bring to Covenant House kids.
"This money provides housing, care, education and multiple supportive services for homeless youth across the country, " he said.  "It means so much to me to be able to make a difference in the lives of our children. I'm proud to be a Board Member of Covenant House and excited to help these kids in yet another way. This truly means everything to me as well as to these kids, who desperately need love and support.”
