Short Term or Long -- We're there for Kids
Some youth are not ready to leave the streets behind and participate in the programs at Covenant House. Some may have a place to stay but are still very much at-risk, and, are on the verge of becoming homeless. Our Drop-in Center helps meet the needs of these particular youth: providing case management, counseling and access to our educational and vocational training programs.
The Drop-in Center also provides aftercare to previous residents of CHNY. Young people who have lived in our residential programs return to continue and complete vocational training programs, receive referrals for long-term housing placements, or complete educational programs.
