October 24, 2006 -- Covenant House Virtual Candlelight Vigil

Now through December 31st, people interested in providing support for Covenant House and its work with homeless and runaway youth will be able to create a "Virtual Vigil" online at www.covenanthouse.org. The Covenant House Virtual Candlelight Vigil is an integrated online fund-raising campaign tied into the 16th Annual Covenant House International Candlelight Vigil for Homeless Youth. During the Virtual Vigil campaign, supporters can log on to the Covenant House Web site and light a virtual candle to support the fight against youth homelessness. People also will be able to create personalized Vigil pages in which they can solicit additional support for Covenant House from friends and family.
